How to bet?

General
To get to the EVENT on which you want to bet, choose a SPORT (e.g. Horseracing, Soccer, etc.) from the Event Browser on the left of the screen. Then choose a TOURNAMENT (e.g. Clairwood, English Premiership, etc.) and then choose the EVENT on which you want to bet (e.g. Race 2, Man United vs. Arsenal, etc.).

Once you have chosen your race, the “win / place” screen appears in the top right of the betting window.
 
  1. TO BET ON FIXED ODDS: Make sure FIXED WIN is showing in the drop down box, and click on the BET button. Enter your stake on the bet slip that has appeared on the right hand side of your screen, and then click SUBMIT.

  2. TO BET ON FIXED PLACES, SP, OPEN WIN, OPEN PLACE, OR EACH WAY: Click on the drop down menu to the left of the BET button, and choose your bet type. Click BET, enter your stake and then click SUBMIT.

  3. TO BET SWINGERS, OPEN DOUBLES, EXACTAS, TRIFECTAS, QUARTETS, JACKPOTS, PICK 6, OR PA’S: Go to the drop down box on the top right of the betting windown and choose your bet type from the menu. Enter your selections in the required fields of the grid by clicking on the relevant numbers, and then click on BET. Enter your stake on the bet slip and click SUBMIT.

  4. TO BET ON FIXED-ODDS MULTIPLES: Make sure you are on the “win / place” screen. Select the first leg of your multiple by choosing the required race from the event browser, and then clicking on the MPL button relating to your selection. Select the second leg of your multiple by choosing the required race from the event browser, and then click the MPL button relating to your selection. Continue until you have selected all legs of your multiple. Then enter your stake on the bet slip, and click SUBMIT.

  5. TO BET A YANKEE: Do as per Multiples above, except click on YNK for all four of your selections. The maximum legs you can take on a yankee on the Hollywood website is 6 legs.
 
Soccer / Other Sports
 
Once you have chosen your match/event, click on the drop down menu to the left of the BET button and make your selection. Then click on BET, enter your stake on the bet slip, and click SUBMIT
